STRUCTURE OF THE MACHINE

TECHNICAL FEATURES
Machine type:

  • vertical-axis centrifuge
  • high-speed bowl with separation disks

Feeding system:

  • axial, with laminar flow
  • internal distributor with radial vanes
  • internal passages with shock-proof profile

Bowl:

  • high resistance stainless steel construction
  • stainless steel separation disks with upward flow channels

Sediment discharge:

Product discharge:

Drive:

  • directly by the electric motor via V-belts
  • the bowl operating speed is reached with the help of a frequency converter (inverter); this device makes possible to restrict the current absorption during acceleration to a minimum and also to optimise absorption.

Lubrication:

  • suction pipe type: oil is sucked by the pump (located in the lower part of the vertical shaft) directly from the oil tank

Vibration-proof system:

  • the bowl is mounted on a short vertical shaft; this results in to vibrations reduction to the minimum
  • central control unit consisting of a vertical shaft connected to the base by means of two different types of rubber elements: cylindrical shock-isolating mountings against axial vibrations and shock-isolating inserts against radial vibrations.


Tight version:

  • by means of hydraulic sealing

Self discharging type:

  • discharge depending on mud chamber filling level

Valuable products:

  • The processed product can be shifted before the discharge

Safety:

  • a machine stopping sensor is activated in case of abnormal vibration

SUPPLIES UPON REQUEST
  • Isobaric version: obtained by means of an hydraulic sealing; a vent valve allows the process of products having a content of CO 2 .
  • Selfregulated discharge: to perform the sludge discharge depending on the filling grade of the sludge chamber, instead of on the time set in the “working cycle”. The system set depends on the product under process.
  • Product pump: to ensure constant feeding according to the centrifuge capacity. Depending on the intended use you can choose between centrifugal and volumetric pumps. Flow rate and characteristics depend on the intended use.
  • Autoclave: to ensure the necessary requirements in terms of operating water quantity and pressure to the centrifuge. Flow rate and characteristics may change depending on the available water network.
  • Water softener: to ensure the quality of the operating water, thus avoiding the presence of coarse particles and mineral salts in solution.
  • Sludge pump: in order to automatically transfer the sludge discharged from the centrifuge.
  • Sludge pump probe and product pump probe: they allow for automatic operation and stopping of the relevant pumps.
  • Static product filter: it is used to eliminate coarse particles with size larger than 2 mm, thus reducing the amount of solids in the product.
  • Rotary filter with automatic discharge: it is conceptually similar to the above static filter; it is used to eliminate particles with size larger than 1 mm, thus reducing the amount of solids in the product.
  • Tank and piping: will be supplied to ensure safe and practical operation depending on the machine location and on the Customer's requirements.
  • Lubrication sensor: to continuously check the efficiency of the lubrication system.


 

The mentioned capacities are referred to the ideal process condition; real capacity will depend on the desired degree of clarification, on quantity and quality of suspended solids and on product temperature.
